MEC Livros is a digital platform created by the Ministry of Education to expand access to reading and knowledge for the entire population. The portal offers a free collection of 26,000 works, ensuring that students, teachers, and the general public have access to technical and cultural content.

There are over a thousand works of literature in Portuguese, over a thousand books on economics, as well as examples on history, biology, international relations, and education in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.

The catalog brings together various works in the public domain, allowing readers to find classics of national and international literature, pedagogical materials, and other educational resources. In this way, MEC Livros seeks to encourage reading and democratize access to knowledge.
